Sarah Harmer & Java Jack’s Restaurant raise $1000 to send a Gros Morne student to international conference
Sarah Harmer played a benefit concert at Java Jack’s on September 28, 2008. We raised $1000 to send a Gros Morne Academy student to the International Conference of Environmental Educators and Communicators. Sarah was here in Rocky Harbour as a key note speaker at the National ECCOM conference.
Eight years ago Jacqui`s sister sent her a CD – You Were Here – and Sarah has been singing herself hoarse here at the restaurant since then. Here she is singing my fav off that album. Please excuse the sing along. Anyone who has worked at Java Jack`s knows all the words. . .
